Developed originally by the UK Home Office Forensic Science Service (FSS) to deliver a robust, quality evidence recovery system, SceneSafe has evolved to offer a well-rounded and innovative collection of forensic solutions. As one of the world’s leading forensic suppliers, they feature a wide range of forensic consumables & crime scene equipment. Not limited to smaller consumables, their CSI range includes large-scale items such as their Crime Scene Investigation Van & their Forensic Triage Unit which was designed to aid in combatting terrorism. SceneSafe’s products are of the highest standard and are compliant with ISO 18385.

Large CSI Units

SceneSafe’s range contains large-scale crime scene units such as their CSI Van. This vehicle is a lab on wheels and allows for DNA retrieval & fingerprint recovery (including chemical development). It features externally isolated utilities including power & water and has rooftop storage for larger scene management equipment. This innovative solution enables onsite processing as it comes fully stocked with forensic DNA-grade consumables. SceneSafe also provides a Forensic Triage Unit. This is a containerised system that is tailored to any given situation in many environments, it contains separate rooms for collecting DNA, Gowning, Fingerprinting & Imaging.

Forensic Consumables

Scenesafe is the last word in all things forensic and produces a range of items from DNA, fingerprint & evidence recovery kits to forensic lab & crime scene equipment. Their range includes their Tamper Evident CJA Exhibit Label which is designed to replace vulnerable labels which can be torn, lost, or removed.

Fingerprint Recovery

SceneSafe’s consumables range contains a wide variety of fingerprint recovery solutions. This includes powders such as their Supranano powders which are both hydrophobic and hydrophilic allowing them to adhere successfully to a number of constituents within a latent print providing a sharper, more defined ridge detail to be recorded. It also contains photographic scales plus fingerprint brushes & lifting solutions in both tape & gel form.

Evidence Collection

SceneSafe’s holistic crime scene range also contains a large number of evidence collection solutions. Their evidence bag lineup includes both paper bags and Ethylene treated bags which eliminate residual DNA that could potentially contaminate the evidence. Their solutions cover all kinds of crime scene scenarios from fires with their arson collection containers, to shooting victims and other gun-related crimes with their firearms bags.
