Forenscope’s t-DNA ZOOM device

Check out this Fingerprint image captured with our partner Forenscope’s t-DNA ZOOM device! All fingerprints are unique. Since ForenScope’s newest mobile innovation can detect the DNA fragments left in fingerprints, t-DNA Zoom is also a unique device in its field!

The t-DNA Zoom is an advanced technological device that offers solutions that will detect DNA even in the most challenging cases. It is capable of zooming in 2000x with its continuous focus feature, which clearly displays every single pore! The name ‘t-DNA Zoom’ is derived from from “touch DNA”. But, what exactly is Touch DNA? “Touch DNA” is the DNA obtained from biological material transferred from a source to any object or person during physical contact. The presence of both Touch DNA and fingerprints at the crime scene is significant in terms of illuminating the incident since they are unique in every human. Touch DNA left in the fingerprint is one of the most crucial pieces of evidence at the crime scene. This can help us know who was at the crime scene and the suspects. Based on the DNA profile, the perpetrator can be detected with only 7-8 cells, therefore the device can be successful at identifying DNA with a very small sample size.
